A brief but engaging look at the Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka, a piloted missile used by the Japanese in the war for the Pacific. The Ohka's obvious weakness was that it needed to be transported to the target via a carrier craft (usually the Mitsubishi "Betty" bomber), most of which were shot down. Although they managed to sink or incapacitate a few US destroyers, the Ohkas came too late in the game; the allied naval forces had, by 1945, drastically improved the fleet's air defence strategy and armaments. But the kamikaze force as a whole still managed to kill over 7,000 allied personnel, sinking or incapacitating 70+ US and Royal Navy vessels, damaging another 350+.
