Supreme Court again takes up issue of partisan gerrymandering
The Supreme Court on Friday said it would once again explore the issue of whether drawing electoral maps for partisan advantage violates the Constitution. The court agreed to review a lower-court ruling regarding Republicans in North Carolina and another involving Democrats in Maryland. Last year, the court declined to squarely address the issue.
