Mattel Inc. subsidiary Fisher-Price Inc. said Tuesday it has recalled about 44,000 "Children's Power Wheels Barbie Dream Campers" for a potential injury hazard. The ride-one Power Wheels, which were sold exclusively at Walmart Inc.'s stores and website from July 2018 through January for about $400, and made in Mexico, can continue to run after the foot pedal is released, which poses and injury hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSA) said on its website. Fisher-Price said it has received 17 reports of the power wheels continuing to run, but there have not been any injuries reported. Mattel's stock edged up 0.4% in midday trade and Walmart shares gained 1.0%. Over the past three months, Mattel shares have slumped 13.3% while the S&P 500 has eased 0.2%.
