U.S. stocks stumbled out of the gates on Friday, with all three major indexes beginning the session in the red. The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened the day down more than 100 points, while the S&P 500 fell 0.5%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index was the worst-performing index, opening Friday down 0.9% and below its 200-day moving average. Earlier in the session, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said October producer prices rose 0.6%, topping economic forecasters polled by MarketWatch. In company news, embattled General Electric opened Friday down more than 3% after a JPMorgan Chase & Co. analyst slashed his price target to $6 from $10.
