Bloom Energy stock falls 3% after Q4 earnings
Shares of Bloom Energy Corp. fell more than 3% in the extended session Tuesday after the clean-energy company reported a narrower-than-expected adjusted quarterly loss and revenues came above expectations. Bloom Energy said it lost $99.8 million, or 91 cents a share, in the quarter, compared with a loss of $67.8 million, or $6.56 a share, a year ago. Adjusted for one-time items, Bloom Energy lost 12 cents a share, compared with a loss of 55 cents a share a year ago. Revenue rose to $214 million in the quarter, from $123 million a year ago. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected the company to report an adjusted loss of 18 cents a share on sales of $207 million. Bloom Energy shares ended the regular trading day down 0.7%.
